Take two

The launch of this site in January did not go so well due to lots and lots of work in q1 so I took it down for a while. Now it’s up again and won’t be going anywhere so stay tuned for regular updates.

Here I will discuss web related matters and share my experience, thoughts and opinions.

My posts will be of two main types:

1. Short thoughts and links to interesting things I come across. These will be displayed on the rights side of the frontpage.
2. Longer more detailed articles. These will be on the left side.

Choice of Language

This website will be written in English (rather than Icelandic) for several reasons.

1. The more the merrier! I wan’t to network with people who make websites from all over. Though I love Iceland, there are only 300 thousand of us here so Icelanders who also make websites is a relatively small group.
2. I believe I have something to say. I do think my input into the web design spectrum is worth reading for a wider range of readers than just Icelanders.
3. International marketing. My job at Morgunbladid is (of course) focused on Icelandic readers. Building a personal brand internationally will be a good card in the deck of experience.
